3. Auspicious Actions

Welcome back to DOOM! Where we left off, Deanna had just lifted Paranormal (and Hopelessness), and Tucker had lifted Service Pet. This occurred midweek (after Tuesday, when Deanna can call people), and Deanna had no time to waste when it came to making babies...

So she romanced the first passerby she could (Sean Warner) and got down to it!

And just like that, she was pregnant!

She had to quit her job as Cult Leader for the baby.

And a few days later, just as alone as last time, but slightly less dirty (due to having more time to wash hands), she went into labor!

She had a boy, who she named Alastor.*

*Alastor is "an archdemon, and the chief executioner in the monarch of Hell. One of his epithets is the "Evil Genius of the Household" meaning that Alastor is the demon that conducts the most heinous, depraved, and unbearably cruel tortures in the pits of Hell." Source

When Tuesday came around, Deanna invited her fiancée who she hadn't seen since the day she proposed!

Tish Tomyay moved in and the two got married.

A couple days after moving in, Tish found a job in the Medical career.

Deanna became pregnant (and miserable) again.

To add to the misery, Tucker was taken by the vague government agency!!*

*Which was totally unintentional... right....

A few days of passing out while washing hands and refusing to sleep because of filth later, it was time for Alastor to get a sibling!*

*Ignore the toddler at the bottom... my game crashed and I lost everything from the first birth, which was a girl in the first playthrough. This picture was just nice.



Deanna had another boy, who she named Annihilation!*

*Annihilation is named for Dragon Valley's famous Queen, Queen Annihilation Bloodsprinkle Who Killed One Billion Sims And United The World Under Her Bloodthirsty Wrath "The Blood Hose" "The Conquerer" "The Maniacally Beautiful and Vicious" "The Basketweaver".

Alastor survived to toddlerhood and managed to get a few creativity points before the next round of birthdays.

Tish started getting promotions, and the DOOM shelter finished its second floor!

Annihilation and Deanna both survived to their next birthdays, too!

All of the non-dying isn't to say that the family had it easy. In addition to constantly being filthy, most of them had horrible aspiration statuses at all times.

Tish was the focus, though, and she was killing it!

Alastor hated seeing his mom, Deanna, with someone other than his father, even though he had no way of knowing he wasn't Tish's... He managed to keep his grades afloat thanks to snow days!*

Annihilation also survived to childhood!

Tish kept going at it in the medical field, and the kids occasionally had high enough needs to play chess and do a few homeworks!

Alastor became the first child to make it to teenagehood! He became a Pleasure Sim, with Popularity as his secondary aspiration.



Being a teen meant Alastor could sponge bathe, which made him able to do Annihilation's homework and play chess.

Chance cards had NOTHING on Tish!!

Tish received a lucrative offer to switch into the Culinary field... which she politely declined.

Annihilation, too, survived into teendom! He became a Knowledge/Romance Sim.

He grew up sad, which sent Tish into a meltdown on the eve of what could be her penultimate promotion.

Having two teens meant the Doom family became much more productive, as life didn't revolve around kids washing their hands until their other needs are so low that it was all for nothing.

They even managed to ALL being doing something that requires high needs at once!!!*

*THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT HAPPENED! I NEARLY CRIED

Their needs were so high that both kids were able to max Logic!

Tish got promoted to the second-highest position in the medical career! Getting the last one, however, would prove a challenge, as when she went to work with everything in order the next day...

Her wife, founder of the DOOM legacy, Deanna Doom, DIED!

Once Tish got home, she immediately had a breakdown.

Deanna died and took her 15 friends/lovers with her, leaving Tish only 4 to fulfill her required 9.

Over the next two days, all three of the remaining Dooms spent all day chatting up passerby.*

*The blonde Sim is one of the main big spenders at my BaCC businesses; if I married her in she'd bring roughly 30 of the most expensive cars and about ten million chess tables with her lmao

They did it just in time, as Tish got the promotion on her last day of work before becoming an elder!!! Medical restrictions were lifted!!*

*YAS!!! The most significant restriction this lifts is the ban on showers/bathtubs, which makes Simming all but IMPOSSIBLE! The only things they can do to raise hygiene is sponge bathe autonomously (if they're teens or adults) or wash their hands a million times. When kids wash their hands, it does practically nothing, making their hygiene nearly impossible to raise, which makes their need average constantly red, which means they won't do homework, which means they get taken by the vague governmental agency, cough cough. NO MORE OF THAT!

• You may not give dogs a bath.
• You may not purchase or use the litter box.
• Showers and bathtubs of all types may not be purchased or used at home or on a community lot.
• Dish washers (both types) may not be purchased or used.
• Pools may not be built or used.
• Hot tubs and Water Wigglers are water items, and therefore restricted.
• Sims may not use medicine to become well.
• Witches may not create curing potions or cast the Remedis Simae or Cleanius Corpus spells
• Sims may not redeem Needs perks, with one exception:
• A Sim child born in game may redeem any Needs perks available on their toddler-to-child birthday.
• Whenever Sims Woohoo, they MUST choose Try for Baby. If Try for Baby is not an option, they may not Woohoo. (Unless the Sim is already pregnant, too old to get pregnant or the two Sims woohooing are the same gender.) This rule does apply to visiting female Sims aged Young Adult and Adult.
• You may not purchase or use the changing table.
• Sims may not purchase or use the Medicine Cabinet
• No Sprinklers may be installed (either from Buy or Build mode).
• Sims may not purchase Vamprocillin-D, WitchBeGone, Lycanthropic-B, or Plantophic-C. (They may use it if they brought a bottle back from college.)
• Sims may not fish on the home lot; the water is too foul to catch anything alive.
• Only Sims currently employed in the Medical career may use the Surgical Dummy
